Attempt to spread bright history of Shivaraya amongst all Hindus
Mumbai : On 26th November, ‘Shivapratap Din’ was celebrated at ‘Swayambhu Hanuman Mandir’, Gowandi Deonar by various pro-Hindu organizations with lot of enthusiasm. The program was held between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon; wherein brave history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was narrated through lectures, including incident of Afzal Khan’s slaying. Good spontaneous response was received to this program from Shivaji-patrons.
The program was started with performing ‘puja’ of picture-frame of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj; followed with reciting of ‘Dhyeya-mantras’ and ‘Prerana-mantras’. Shri. Vikrant Kakade of ‘Shivaputra Yuva Pratishthan’ explained historical importance of ‘Shivapratap Din’. Shri. Kishore Awaty of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) gave guidance on ‘Hindavi Swarajya’ established by Chhatrapati Shivaraya and importance of unification for establishment of Hindu Rashtra at present.
