HJS stops denigration of Deities pictures printed on packets of salt and ghee

Dombivali (Maharashtra) : Smt. Manisha Joshi, a worker of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) forced the manufacturers to remove pictures of Sree Lakshmi and Ganesha printed on the packets of salt and ghee. Smt. Joshi bought ‘Lakshmi Brand’ table salt from a shop when she noticed the picture of Sree Lakshmi on the pack; then from the contact number of the manufacturers printed on the packet, she contacted him and explained to him how it was resulting in denigration of the Deity.

Santosh Table Salt Supplier’ manufacturer took action and removed the picture of Deity from the product’s package. Similarly, manufacturers of ‘Gopalkrushna Cow Ghee’ also removed picture of Srikrushna from its package after explanation.
