Jalna (Maharashtra): Sri Krushna imparted to us the knowledge of Dharma; but it is very unfortunate that today, awareness is required to be created among Hindus towards their own Dharma. We should value Dharma more than the castes. We must fight against the distortion of history taking place in education field, denigration of Deities taking place through crackers. The above views were expressed by H. B. P. Shrihari Rasal Maharaj in ‘Dharmajagruti Sabha’ held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Shirner in Jalna District.

H. B. P. Smt. Rampyaribai Gayake, Mr. Ashok Kulkarni of HJS and Mrs. Chhaya Deshpande of Sanatan Sanstha were the other dignitaries who shared dais with Rasal Maharaj. The ‘sabha’ began with recitation of ‘Vedmantras’ followed with lighting of lamp.

H. B. P. Rampyaribai Gayake said, “During religious festivals like Ganeshotsava, we should play religious songs rather than film songs. One should undertake spiritual practice by reciting ‘stotras’ everyday and meditation. Everyone should attend HJS’ dharmashikshan classes.”

Many resolutions were passed in the said meeting which was attended by about 250 devout Hindus.
