Chennai: In Sriram Veda Pathashala at Kettavaramapalayam about 185 kilometers from Chennai, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti held a ‘satang (spiritual meet)’. There are 11 students studying ‘Vedas’ in this ‘Veda Pathashala’ run on the basis of Gurukul tradition. Mr. Manjunath Bhat, a Ved-Pundit from Karnataka is teaching at this Pathashala.

The students were guided on the topic of ‘Spiritual Practice as per the Path of Guru’s Grace (Gurukrupa Yoga) on behalf of HJS. Information on importance of studying ‘Vedas’, the responsibility upon them to guide the world in future, few religious rituals and science behind the rituals was given to them. A ‘subtle’ experiment was also conducted involving looking at the picture of Lord Shiva and study of the feelings generated by looking at the picture.
