Mysore (Karnataka) : Today Hinduism is entrapped in internal and external dangers. Religious conversions are a big problem among the internal dangers. Lack of pride or respect towards Sanatan Dharma amongst Hindus is the main reason for religious conversions. If any person easily succumbs to the luring of religions, then it is acknowledged as lack of respect and faith for his own religion. This happens due to scarce knowledge about his religion. To save him from getting converted, awareness about Sanatan Dharma has to be imbibed into him. This is the internal problem of the Country. In this direction the activities of the Sanatan Sanstha and other Hindu religious Mutts are highly appreciable.

Another internal problem is that we do not easily and quickly become alert and react to the attacks on our religion. When somebody becomes aware and reacts to such events or situations, then it is easily given a political allusion. Neither the Sanatan Sanstha nor Mr. Rajendra Shinde or any other seeker’s who are working in this direction are doing the same with any political motive. To view their work by giving it a political allusion or angle is a great mistake.

The external problems can be like this. In the state of Uttaranchal, there is every chance of Bangladeshi insurgents finding their way into the legislative homes very shortly. Another problem is that there is no Unity. The divisions within and externally are very evident and are definitely a big problem.

Another problem is the Common Law. The Muslims are opposing the existing common Law. However they want a separate Common Law. If that is the case, why not adopt their own religious common law. They do not want this to happen as punishments in the Muslim Law are very cruel. What an Irony !

To capture and gain control of all the Hindu Temples is the long drawn, but dubious plan of the Government. We have been opposing the same for many years and also we have fought many Legal battles for this cause. Though the committee headed by Justice Rama has accepted our demands, still certain modifications are required to be done.

The constitution itself has provided for banning the cow slaughter. Most of the states have brought the law banning the cow slaughter. This is not opposed by any religion. But certain vested interests, being politically motivated are opposing the same. We are representing to the Governor and pressing him for implementation of the same.
