‘Dharmasabhas’ organized to generate divine energy among Hindus ! – Mr. Vatkar, HJS

Mumbai: Problems of terrorism and corruption have increased to large extent. There is deterioration of moral values, therefore, we see ‘Adarsha’ scams taking place everywhere. The Government is solely responsible for this decline. Although there are 80% Hindus in this country, they are all scattered; therefore, the Government pays no heed to them. In such situation, Hindu unity is the only solution. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) will, therefore, be organizing ‘Dharmajagruti Sabhas’ at 500 places all over the country and 25 ‘sabhas’ in Mumbai during this year. Colaba, where terrorists had attacked two years back on 26th November, will be the venue of the first ‘Dharmajagruti Sabha’ to be held on 5th December in Mumbai, informed Mr. Shivaji Vatkar, the coordinator of HJS for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts.

Organisation of such ‘Dharma sabhas’ started from the year 2007. The fourth session of the ‘sabhas’ has started from October this year. HJS held a press conference is this respect at Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh to give details of the ‘sabhas’ to the media. Mr. Satish Sonar of HJS was also present on the occasion. Mr. Vatkar said, “Hindu Dharma is beset with many attacks like rapid conversions of Hindus in North-Eastern States in India, danger of ‘love jihad’ engulfing Hindu women, genocide of Hindus taking place in Kashmir, Bangla Desh and Pakistan, blind following of western culture, denigration of Deities, attacks on temples etc. In such situation, to create awareness among Hindus towards importance of their Dharma and ‘Dharmashikshan’, 725 meetings to emphasize importance of Dharma to Hindus have been held so far in the past three years in India and abroad through which nearly 8 lakh Hindus were united. He made an appeal that the ‘sabhas’ planned this year should also be attended by devout Hindus in large numbers and perform their duty towards Dharma.”
