Vehicle Rally and procession organised by HJS |
The procession began from the Rajarajeshwari Temple with the ritualistic worship of the Dharmadhvaj and the blowing of the conch. Passing through the Nimishaamba temple and the BEML complex, Balakrishna Ranga Mandira (Venue), it concluded at Kanakadasa circle.

The volunteers holding attractive banners and hand held placards displaying various slogans related to Hinduism attracted one and all. The procession halted at important places during its course and messages related to the need for Hindus to waken and arise, to be united etc were announced. A few people sought to get the pamphlets that were being distributed even as they were sitting in the BMTC bus, when the bus had slowed down or was standing at the bus stop.

Earlier the members of the Samiti met the Pontiff of the Sri Kailas Ashram Mahasamsthan, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Acharya Mahamandaleshwara Sri Jayendra Puri Mahaswamiji and briefed about the activities of the Samiti. The Acharya recollected the meeting of members of the Samiti at Miraj last year during His visit there and was very appreciative about the activities of the Samiti. He also blessed the Samiti and the members involved in this Divine cause.
Impressed by the activities of the Samiti Mr. S.Srinivasa Reddy of Patanjali Yog Samiti offered his four wheeler for use during the Dharma Sabha. The MLA of Rajarajeshwari Nagar Mr. M. Srinivas who was approached initially while planning for the Sabha also commended the activities of the Samiti and made arrangements for the permission of the ground, stay and food of the Samiti members through his local contacts.
Special Features:
2. A few Devout Hindus who had joined the Samiti during the earlier Dharma Sabhas Came from more than 25 to 30 Kilometers on their vehicles to participate in the procession applying leave.
3. Though the procession was moving at a very slow speed there was no restlessness among the drivers of the private or public vehicles including the City Buses. Unlike during other Processions none of the drivers used their horns. They seemed to be very relaxed and attentive to the announcements.
4. The Police officers on escort offered full support in the smooth movement of the traffic during the procession in the narrow streets. There were no traffic jams.
5. Devout Hindu Mr. Guruprasad, assistant editor of Karnataka Voice after participating in the Sabha mentioned that he had participated in many rallies and programmes of other Pro-Hindu organisations. If at all the other they had done this kind of awareness rallies / programmes with a stress on developing a Fighting Spirit on the basis of Spirituality the country would not have faced such a state now.
