Preparations in full swing for Mulki Dharma Sabha

Mulki (Karnataka) : This is the place presided by Goddess Sri Bappanadu Durga Parameshwari Devi. During the Ramayana when Lord Hanuman was in search of Sita Mata seeing the cluster of islands in Mulki He got down. Later seeing the peaceful environment of He realized that this is not Lanka but Volalanka and proceeded further on His Mission. Hence it got the name of Volalanka. Later the people started addressing the town as Moolikapura and now it is being called as Mulki.

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is organizing Hindu Dharma Jagruti Sabha on the 12th of December 2010 at the Billava Samaj Sangha at 4.30 P.M. The main aim of the Sabha is to inculcate the education on Dharma and educate them the present situation of Dharma. As a prelude to the Sabha HJS held a meeting of devout Hindus on the 21st of November 2011 in Mulki to plan for the forthcoming ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’. More than 25 devout Hindus including RSS and Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists and other prominent persons from Mulki were present during the meeting and they took up responsibilities of different seva. Later more than 5000 invitations were printed and are in the process of being distributed. A large number of cut outs and Flex banners of different sizes put up in prominent junctions of the town are attracting everyone’s attention. To create awareness of the sabha the volunteers of HJS along with locals met the leaders of Hindu organisations like Hindu Jagaran Vedike, RSS, Bajrang Dal, Friends Cricketers, Vishwa Karma Brahman Sangha, Weavers Association and Associations of Billavas and told the importance of the Sabha.  Those members who have evinced interest have been met once again to motivate them to get involved in the Sabha directly or indirectly. The local channels C TV and V4 Channel have given publicity of the Sabha and the Dharmabhimanis have on their own arranged vehicles for the Mike announcements four days prior to the Sabha.
