Declaring only Hindu places of faith as illegal creates discrimination in society : demand through Rashtriya Hindu Andolan in Dicholi
Dicholi : Statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Valpai and Usgao have been removed by local administration. On this background, many Hindu organisations, under the banner of the Rashtriya Hindu Andolan have demanded that by declaring only Hindu places of faith as illegal creates discrimination in society ! This demand was made in the said Movement on 24th March in Dicholi in the evening while demonstrating near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Ground. This was a part of the Rashtriya Hindu Andolan all over the nation. There was also a demand asking for the cancellation of the reduction in air ticket of Haj pilgrims. Other demands like, cancelling the permission given to Rohingya Muslims for settlement. Rohingya Muslims pose a danger to the security of the nation, hence they should not be allowed to enter Bharat, drive away immediately all the Rohingya Muslims who have come to Bharat, were also made at this time.
The movement commenced after the blowing of conch shell. On behalf of the movement, Sou. Rajashri Gadekar of HJS explained the purpose of the movement. Thereafter few Hindu activists addressed the gathering. After listening to the guidance by these Hindu activists, Hindus present there, opined that, the Supreme Court has given an order to remove the hooters (Bhonge) from mosques. Christians also have erected their ‘Crosses’ illegally by the sides of roads. Since last many years a court order has been given to demolish the illegal constructions in Motidongar near Margao. Action must be taken on all these illegal things. Taking immediate action on statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by declaring them to be illegal and ignoring the illegal places of faith of other religions shows the discrimination of local administration towards Hindus. Those organisations and persons and religious leaders who are supporting Rohingya Muslims, building houses for them, also rendering other assistance to them, should be considered as anti-nationals and stringent action should be taken against them. Cancelling the grant given for Haj pilgrims and giving reduction in their air tickets is an eye wash of Hindu society. This amounts to disregarding the decision of the court. In the end, Shri. Satyavijay Naik placed the resolutions before the audience, while compering was done by Shri. Pankaj Barve.
