O Hindus, are you staying in Pakistan or in India?
Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) : The devout Hindus who were demanding that the door of Sri Raghunath Temple, which is a place of worship of millions of Hindus, be opened, were ‘lathi-charged’ by the police. A drive was undertaken by workers of pro-Hindu parties and organizations viz. Shiv Sena, Bajarang Dal.
Kranti Dal etc. in Hari Bazar opposite Sri Raghunath Temple for opening of the temple door. Few workers tried to block the road and few, tried to open the temple door; therefore, the police caned them. After the terrorists attack in March and November 2000, the temple doors have been kept closed.
