‘HJS, Sanatan Sanstha won’t contest elections, will help Hindu organisations’

Bengaluru (Karnataka) : News about Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Sanatan Sanstha contesting elections has been published in few newspapers; but we have no idea about the source for including names of HJS and Sanatan Sanstha. We are giving a written memorandum even to the Election Commission in this regard. Political activities do not fit into Principles followed by us. We have not taken any decision on contesting any kind of elections or setting up a political party; however, HJS and Sanatan Sanstha will help pro-Hindu organizations which are going to contest elections. The above declaration has been made through a press release issued by Shri. Mohan Gauda, the spokesperson of HJS for Karnataka State.

It has been further stated in the Press Release that HJS is a voluntary, non-political organization, engaged in activities related to social work, protection of Dharma and spreading knowledge of Dharma in society. HJS has been undertaking various drives and campaigns for ‘Dharmashikshan’, ‘Dharmajagruti’ and ‘Dharmarakshan’ since past 16 years, for unification of Hindus all over the country. HJS has been creating awareness amongst Hindus and bringing them together with the aim of establishment of Hindu Rashtra for solving social, national and religious problems faced by Hindus.
