Temple cleaning drive undertaken at Pune

Pune : Temples have important place in Hindu Dharma. Saints have said that temples are source of energy for Hindus. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj too looked after temples’ safety and their renovation, maintenance etc besides making arrangements for carrying out daily rituals; but owing to lack of ‘Dharmashikshan’, Hindus are nowadays, neglecting their temples. Therefore, with the aim of creating ‘bhav’ amongst Hindus towards their temples and creating feeling of gratitude towards Deities, drive to clean temples has been undertaken in various parts of Pune in the background of birthday celebrations of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale. Readers of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’, devout Hindus and ‘Hindutvavadis’ are participating in these drives in large numbers.
