Cancel the decision of using money donated in temples for collective marriage ceremonies : Demand in the Rashtriya Hindu Andolan
Nandurbar : Money donated by devotees in temples is being used for holding collective marriage ceremonies and it should be stopped immediately, was the demand made in the Rashtriy Hindu Andolan here. This andolan was held at Netaji Subhash Chowk here on 29th April on behalf of HJS along with other pro-Hindu organisations. There were other demands like, not giving an independent status to Lingayat Dharma and to protest against the deadly attack on Hindu-activist MLA T. Rajasingh.
Pro-Hindu Shri. Dilip Dhakne-Patil said on the occasion, “Temple Money (Donations) is being used for collective marriage ceremonies, which is very disgracing.” Devout Hindu, Shri. Jitendra Marathe also expressed his views about Lingayat Samaj. Dr. Narendra patil protested against the cowardly attack on MLA T. Rajaingh. Many pro-Hindus were present on this occasion.
