Navi Mumbai: Hindus celebrating the New Year on 31st December are the heirs of ghosts, said Haribhaktaparayan Dinesh Maharaj Joshi Jejurikar of Warkari Sampraday. He was addressing the gathering of Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha organised at Swami  Vivekanand Nagari here. Mr. Ashish Sawant of Sanatan Sanstha, Mr. Sadanand Panchal of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) also spoke on the occasion. More than 250 proud Hindus attended the sabha.

Haribhaktaparayan Joshi Maharaj said, “Hindus have forgotten their culture and Dharma. People belonging to other Faiths get Dharmashikashan from age of 3; whereas we Hindus start it after the retirement. That is the reason why Hindus are suffering today. Hindus have to be made aware about their duty to protect their Dharma and Rashtra. It has to start with the children. Parents have to think how to create good Sanskars/impressions on their children.”  Compering was done by Mr. Jaydeep Shedge and Kum. Prajakta Tandel.
