By slaying cattle, Bharatiyas are compelled to carry out mechanised farming using fuel imported from Gulf countries. So in a way it is like giving revenue to the Gulf countries. It is obvious that this is an international attempt to ruin the Indian economy. Today cow slaughter is rampant and beef is smuggled at night with government assistance.
