Law required for anti-national speech made in the name of Freedom of Expression – Advocate Pandit Shesh Narayan Pande

Advocate Sheshnarayan Pande, National Treasurer of Brahman Vichar Manch from Gorakhpur Uttar Pradesh

Advocate Pandit Shesh Narayan Pande, from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh in his speech said that today despite living in Bharat and availing of all Government schemes and facilities anti-national speech is made in the name of Freedom of expression. He stated that here is a need for legislation to curb this.

Salient points put forth by Advocate Pande

1. Bharatiya Constitution has not accorded importance to the religious sentiments of the majority population, the Hindus. Setting aside the foundation of religion, India was pronounced a secular country.

2. Today the legal system is in shambles. Though the judiciary delivers the verdict it does not have the powers to implement it, for which it is dependent on the executive body. There is discord between the judiciary, the executive body and the people’s representatives.

3. It should be noted that the Constitution is meant for the people and not vice-versa.

4. The Indian Constitution grants special privileges to the minorities. However as per their convenience they use it for their benefit. When they are likely to be at a loss they opt for the Sharia law and when there is gain they go by the Constitution. If this continues then very soon Hindus will become a minority.

5. Pakistan does not grant voting rights to the minorities, whereas in India the minority Muslims can exercise their franchise.

6. A flaw in the Constitution is that it has invested too many powers to the Prime Minister.

7. As the number of people opposing Dharma are outnumbering the followers of Dharma, the country is heading towards deterioration. To stop this, let us pledge to sacrifice our life for the sake of Dharma, strive for the establishment of a Hindu Nation and towards eliminating the defects in the Constitution.
