We need to be alert and fight for truth i.e. Dharma in our legal profession : Advocate Vivek Bhave, Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad
Kalyan : Despite knowing about client’s involvement in crime, advocates try to present his side and even get him acquitted because we feel that it is our duty to save him; while practising law. Therefore, we become partners in the sins committed by our clients. We use our intelligence and get an offender acquitted; but such person continues to commit crimes. It is a serious matter and it is our duty to change such approach. We need to be alert and always fight for the side of truth i.e. Dharma, righteousness; while practising law. The above views were expressed by advocate Vivek Bhave during a meeting of advocates held on 8th July at Kalyan on the occasion of 6th anniversary of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad.
Advocates viz. Kiran Joshi, Ashok Avasthi, Pradip Tadmare, Sou. Kishori Kulkarni, Vivek Bhave; along with Sou. Vedika Palan and Shri. Satish Kocharekar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti were present on the occasion.
Advocate Bhave said further, “If we get associated with unrighteous matters, we will also get punishment as per the principle of ‘Karma-Phal- Nyay (cause and effect of actions); therefore, we should unite, undertake spiritual practice and stand on the side of truth by joining the mission of ‘Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad’.”
