Goa: 6 persons arrested for cow slaughter after Hindus’ efforts

Panaji (Goa) : Animal lovers and proud Hindus brought to light the cow slaughter that was going on openly atop a hill in the ruins of a building that goes back to the Portuguese times and were successful in getting those involved arrested. This slaughter had been going on for many years. (O, Hindus, Congratulations for being alert in stopping the loss to Dharma. – Editor) They were successful in saving a bull and a buffalo; but a cow was already slaughtered by the butchers. The police registered a complaint against the accused and 5 of them are Muslims.

Close vigil of Proud Hindus to stop the cow slaughter from 4 a.m.

Under the leadership of animal lover, Mr. Amrutsing from Dicholi ; Mr. Kamlesh Bandekar, Mr. Kamlakant Tari, Bhratesh Gulnavar, Mr. Gajanan Bordekar, Mr. Sakharam Pednekar, Mr. Sridhar Manerikar, Mr. Parag Khanolkar, Mr. Bhagvan Harmalkar, Mr. Sandeep Pednekar   kept a close vigil at the illegal slaughtering spot from 4 a.m. onwards. The activists caught the butchers red handed with swords and other implements used in slaughtering cow , a wok (kadhai) and a log of wood. After that Mr. Hanuman Parab and Mr. Sameer Joshi of Vishva Jay Sriram Govardhan Centre, Nanus, reached the spot and took the animals into their possession by following the appropriate procedure.  The  police arrived along with the officer in charge of the Animal Husbandry, took the panchnama and arrested the butchers. The cow slaughter was going on for the last 20 years. A band of butchers would rob cows and bulls by night and slaughter them on the rocks atop the hill. Some local rickshaw drivers were helping them in carrying the animals to the hill. (Such born Hindus deserve to be killed by Muslims. !- Editor) The locals had complained to the police about the slaughter but in vain. No action was ever taken by the police. (Anti-Hindu police not taking any action although cow-slaughter was hurting the feelings of Hindus despite the complaints from the locals! – Editor) Locals acclaimed the proud Hindus for being instrumental in getting the butchers arrested.
