Tribute was paid by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Swami Vivekananda on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary at Nandurbar, Jalgaon city, Mamurabad etc.

Guidance in schools

Nandurbar – Miss Swati Kadam of HJS presented Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts before students of 8th and 9th standard in H. M. Shroff School with permission from Mrs. Sushama Shah, the Principal of the School. Mrs. Nivedita Joshi gave a lecture on various aspects of Swami Vivekananda’s life like spirituality, nationalism and his love for Dharma in Dr. Kane Girls’ School which was attended by Mrs. Surekha Kasar, the Principal of the School and Mrs. Chhapekar.

Guidance on local channels

Nandurbar – The 5 local channels viz. MG TV, Samartha News, SNG, Sangharsha and Tapikaath Parisar showed programs on Swami Vivekananda and his thoughts on ‘Rashtradharma and Sanskruti’. Miss Kalyani Kadam, Miss Swati Kadam and Mrs. Nivedita Joshi were invited to speak on the topic.

Birth anniversaries of Rajmata Jijau and Swami Vivekananda celebrated at Jalgaon

In a program jointly organized by Shiv Sena- Radhakrushnanagar Branch and HJS , Shri. Ashish Baviskar, Area-chief of Shiv Sena offered garlands to the pictures of Jijau and Swamiji. Miss Pratiksha Korgaonkar spoke on the great traditions of Hindu Dharma, its specialities and attacks on Dharma. Shri. Mohan Tiwari and members of Shiv Sena were present on the occasion.

Mamurabad – Today’s youth is more inclined towards materialism rather than spirituality. At least pray for two times during the day and undertake spiritual practice on regular basis, is what is expected by Swami Vivekananda, said Shri. Bhanudas Patil Guruji. He was speaking in a program held by youth members attending Dharmashikshan classes on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.
