Great national personalities denigrated once again in Mumbai marathon

Mumbai: Like every year, this year too in ‘Standard Chartered Marathon’, great national personalities were ridiculed under the name of entertainment. Last year, it was shown that Afzal Khan was running with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj triggering problem; even then two contestants joined the contest dressed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Rani Lakshmibai. (Only in India, one gets to see such ungrateful citizens who degrade their great national personalities; but what can one expect in a country where the Government hates revolutionaries? All these anti-nationals should remember that the very existence of a country with such rulers is jeopardized with the times ! – Editor SP)

The workers of ‘Muktangan’ were in the attire of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and a woman from Life Insurance Corporation of India was dressed as Rani Lakshmibai. One person representing Standard Chartered Bank was in the attire of ‘Potaraja’ carrying a picture of Sree Bhavanidevi. Few senior citizens were making faces and laughing like demons. One handicapped person was unable to even take a single step but it was tried to make that person run. (The disgraceful act done out of the frenzy generated with the contest is most condemnable ! – Editor SP) This year, ‘cheer-girls’ wearing tight clothes making vulgar gesticulations were there on the stage. (The anti-Hindu rulers have made the society devoid of morality ! – Editor SP) The contest was won by a participant from Ethiopia. It was later, found that the two women who were declared as first among ladies, had actually travelled some distance on their bikes. As a result, the contestant who was declared as third, was then declared as first.
