HJS undertakes drive at various places to ‘Maintain sanctity of National Flag’

Under its campaign to maintain the sanctity of our National Flag, HJS submitted memorandum to Tehsildars and police officials at Niphad, Ambad (Dist. Sambhajinagar), Uran etc. At Uran, business community also appreciated the drive. Memorandums were submitted to 23 schools in Uran appealing to stop use of paper and plastic flags.

Signature drive was undertaken in Mahad in which 250 citizens took part and commended the campaign.

Representations were submitted to Mayor and police officials at Kalyan and Ulhasnagar to stop insult of National Flag. Boxes will be kept at various places to collect the thrown flags, banners have been put up by HJS requesting people to ban use of plastic/ paper flags. Lectures have been organized in schools to explain the topic to the children and VCDs will be shown on the subject.

Lecture and quiz contest was held to create awareness among students towards respecting National Flag in Kalamboli.
