Necessary action should be taken against officers for illegal action against Vaibhav Raut ! – Dilip Dhakane-Patil, ‘Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan’
Nandurbar : Hindus and ‘Hindutvavadi’ activists are not united therefore, such injustice is meted out to them. The Government has passed law banning cow-slaughter; but it is not implemented effectively; therefore, ‘Hindutvavadis’ have to take initiative in protection of cows. The Government is harassing ‘Gou-rakshaks’ under pressurization from progressive factions. Action should be taken against officers for taking illegal action against Shri. Vaibhav Raut. The above demand was made by Shri. Dilip Dhakane- Patil of ‘Shivapratishthan Hindustan’. On 15thAugust, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), along with other pro-Hindu organizations staged demonstrations under auspices of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ for drawing Government’s attention to the following demands viz.
1. Action against police involved in illegal action against ‘Hindutvavadis’
2. Govt. should stop cow-slaughtering taking place in the background of Bakri Eid
3.Govt. should not encourage making of Shri Ganesh idols with paper pulp since it increases pollution
4. Illegal Bangladeshi and Pakistani immigrants, Rohingya Muslims should be driven out.
BJP’s senior member Shri. Bhika Girnar performed ‘puja’ of ‘Bharatmata’s picture-frame. Shri. Girnar said, “Bangladeshi infiltrators should be driven out of this country.” Shri. Mayur Chaudhari, a ‘Hindutvavadi’ activist said regarding demand for Government to stop cow-slaughter on the occasion of Bakri Eid, , “On one hand, Government makes appeal to celebrate ‘eco-friendly’ Ganesh festival; but it doesn’t appeal for ‘eco-friendly’ celebration of Bakri Eid. The Government is purposely ignoring Hindus’ sentiments, instead of proper implementation of secular policies.”
Shri. Saurabh Pundit said, “Under the name of ‘eco-friendly’ Ganesh festival, the Government is encouraging Ganesh idols made of paper pulp. In fact, it has been found through research that such idols caused harm to environment and are increasing water pollution. Therefore, idols made of clay should be worshipped.”
Dr. Narendra Patil of HJS said, “Action of confiscating explosives from Vaibhav Raut is suspicious from many angles. Is it a conspiracy to create obstacles in the mission of establishment of Hindu Rashtra? Unification of ‘Hindutvavadis’ working through different organizations is the need of the hour if we want to stop things such as cow-slaughter; imposing restrictions on celebration of Ganesh festival; filing of false cases against ‘Hindutvavadis’ etc.”
Office bearers of various organizations, members of gyms and festival committees participated in large numbers.
