Govt. should take stringent action against cow-slaughterers on the day of Bakri Eid ! – Mukl Kapase, District President, ‘Rashtriya Bajarang Dal’
Amravati : On one hand, the Government makes appeal to Hindus for celebrating ‘eco-friendly’ Ganesh festival and on the other hand, cows are slaughtered on the day of Bakri Eid. Considering gravity of this situation and increasing incidents of cow-slaughtering, stringent action should be taken against slaughterers of cows, stated Shri. Mukul Kapase, the District President of ‘Rashtriya Bajarang Dal’ during demonstrations staged by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’.
Demonstrations were staged under RHA at Jaistambh Chowk between 4.00 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. Dr. Suresh Chikate, the District-President of VHP, Sou. Vibha Chaudhari of Sanatan Sanstha and Shri. Nilesh Tavlare, District Coordinator of HJS expressed their views on the issues for which demonstrations were held. 25000 devout Hindus were reached the demonstrations through ‘Facebook live’. Following demands were made during the demonstrations.
1. Local administrations should be alert for preventing cow-slaughter on the day of ‘Bakri Eid’. Police squads should be deployed at different places for surveillance. Animals cannot be slaughtered at places other than Government slaughter-houses as per Government’s orders; therefore, permission should not be granted for erecting temporary slaughter-houses on the occasion of ‘Bakri Eid’.
2. ‘National Green Tribunal’ has declared that idols made from paper pulp in the name of ‘eco-friendly’ idols cause pollution; therefore, the Government should not encourage sale of Shri Ganesh idols made of paper pulp.
3. ‘Navaratri’ festival is starting from 10th October and on 5th October, Salman Khan’s film ‘Lovaratri’ is being released. Such title is given purposely to hurt religious sentiments of Hindus, based on their ‘Navaratri’ festival so that Hindus would oppose the film and film would be commercially successful, owing to controversies created by it. In the recently released trailer of this film, there is a dialogue by a character of the film saying “You have only nine days and nine nights to attract her.” It is sending wrong message to people that Hindus’ festivals are meant only for love affairs. It is most condemnable and the title of the film should be changed.
4. Infiltrators coming from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Rohingya Muslims not only to Assam but all over the country should be immediately driven out.
