Malvan : HJS makes appeal through vehicle march in the background of 15th August

Take care to maintain honour of National Flag and avoid its abuse !

Malvan : Like every year, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) undertook their drive for creating awareness towards maintaining honour of national flags; under which representations were submitted to police, local government administrative officers, schools and colleges; lectures were held giving information about revolutionaries and vehicle march was taken out drawing people’s attention towards this matter. The drive received good response from all strata of society. On 14th August, i.e. on the eve of Independence Day, vehicle-march was taken out; making an appeal to people for taking care to see that national flag was given due respect and was not abused.

The vehicle-march was started from Shri Dev Narayan Temple at Deulwada before which Shri. Sanjay Gawade, a devout Hindu performed ‘puja’ of picture-frame of ‘Bharatmata’. Sanatan’s Sadguru Satyawan Kadam garlanded the picture-frame of ‘Bharatama’. Dr. Subhash Dighe from Malvan broke a coconut after which the procession was started and taken through areas like bus-stand, Bharad Naka, market, Nagar Vachan Mandir etc. It was concluded at ‘Fovakand Pimpal’. Sou. Vaidehi Mahesh Juvatkar, a local devout Hindu and Shri. Daivesh Redkar from HJS addressed the participants. Sou. Shivani Redkar did compeering of the program.

Highlights 

1. Members of ‘Bhairavi Saksham Mahila Dhol-Tasha’ band and ‘Swarajya Mahila Dhol-Tasha’ band participated in this program wearing traditional clothes.

2. There were 50 persons who joined the march on their bikes.

3. Nobody left the march in between though it started raining.

4. People were stopping and trying to know the subject for which the march was taken out and some were video-recording it on their cell-phones.

5. Women’s ‘Dhol-tasha’ squads were thanked for participating in the march during concluding program but they said that it was their duty towards nation and they would always participate in such programs.

6. The whole area was resonating with slogans of ‘Bharatmate cha Vijay Aso’ and ‘Vande Mataram’.

‘Thanks-giving’

Shri. Vinay Gaokar, owner of Hotel Janaki from Kumbharmath, Malvan offered his four-wheeler for the march and drove in the procession till end. Fowkand auto-rickshaw drivers’ union made available their land for holding concluding program. ‘Mahapurush Deulwada Balgopal Mandal’ offered their place for performing ‘puja’. HJS extended thanks to all of them; so also to everyone who had given help in some way or the other.
