Movement of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for preserving the honour of the national flag !
Thane (Maharashtra) : Like every year, this year too Hindu Janajagruti Samiti along with likeminded organisations organised a movement for preserving the honour of the national flag on the occasion of Republic Day in Thane district. Activists of HJS made efforts to stop the sale of plastic flags in a legal manner. Last year on August 15 more than 4000 plastic flags were handed over to the Police Commissioner. This time more than 800 plastic flags were collected and submitted to the Police Commissioner Pradip Joshi. The Commissioner was also requested to ensure that the administration takes serious note of the dishonouring of the national flag and takes proper action. Mr. Sandesh Vichare – Hindu Maha Sabha Thane City Chief, Mr. Rajesh Murti of Hindu Maha Sabha, Mr. Rocky Hindustani – Bajrang Dal Thane City Assistant Chief, Mr. Ramchandra Masurkar of Shriram Sena, Mr. Bhavesh Raut, Mr. Anmol Desai of Vande Mataram Pratisthan, Mr. Akshay Mayekar and Mr. Atul Dev of HJS and others were present on this occasion.
