Know More about Kittur Rani Channamma
Lectures were held at Bengaluru and Chamarajanagar.
She regretted that Indian women today have become weak, self-centered and westernized. She said, "Today’s women find it difficult to do anything if they are clad in a saree – they cannot do household chores, they cannot travel by public transport etc. But centuries ago Kittur Rani Channamma was able to fight a war clad in a saree, Jhansi Rani was able to fight a war clad in a saree with her child tied on her back." She urged the women present to adopt Indian culture, live righteous lives and inculcate righteousness among the children. Though it was late by the time the lecture concluded, the women impressed with her talk stayed back asking questions and requesting that regular classes on Righteous living (dharmaacharan) be conducted in their area.
