Allahabad’s name soon to be changed to ‘Prayagraj’ : Yogi Adityanath
Union Govt. and State Governments in 20 States ruled by BJP should change names of cities, towns or roads given by foreign invaders, to ancient Hindu names; keeping Yogi Adityanath as ideal !
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) : Name of Allahabad district in Uttar Pradesh (UP) will be changed again and it will now be given its old name as ‘Prayagraj’, informed State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while talking to reporters at Vishram Bhavan in Prayagraj. The proposal has also been approved by the State Governor Ram Naik.
Yogi Adityanath said, “Proposal to change name of Allahabad district was put up in the meeting held with ‘Aakhada Parishad’ and other organizations in the background of forthcoming ‘Kumbh-Parva’.”

Muzaffarnagar (UP) : UP State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced change in name of Allahabad to its old name ‘Prayagraj’. We support and commend him for the same. Pro-Hindu reporters demanded during the press conference that names of various places given by invading Mughals and the British should be changed.
Shri. Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) presented this topic during the press conference. Shri. Lalit Maheshwari, area-President and Shri. Arun Pawar of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, advocate Vikas Varma, Shri. Dayanand Acharya, Shri. Vikas Agrawal, Shri. Pavan Singhal and Shri. Sanjay Arora, national convener of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Shakti’ were present on the occasion.
Shri. Ramesh Shinde said, “These name should have been changed immediately after India’s freedom; but the so-called secular governments ignored the issue in view of their vote banks. In countries like Germany and Israel, no village or city has been named after their invaders. Decision taken by Yogi Adityanath is commendable. Now, he should also change names of places like Muzaffarnagar, Faizabad and Ghaziabad.”
Ram Mandir should also be constructed without delay !
Shri. Ramesh Shinde further said, “HJS had organized Convention at Delhi, of pro-Hindu organizations from parts of North India. The participating organizations had passed resolutions for their demands and sent them to Union Government. Issue of construction of Ram Mandir was also included in it; besides demands like rehabilitation of Hindus in Kashmir and declaring Bharat as Hindu Rashtra. The Government should construct Ram Mandir without further delay and it should not ignore Hindus’ demands.” He also said that Muslims were given a separate nation after India’s partition. India should have been declared as Hindu Rashtra at that time. Indira Gandhi, however, added the words ‘secular’ and ‘socialist’ in Indian Constitution during the period of emergency. These words should be removed.
