Letter from Superintendent of Police to all Police Stations in the state !
Slap on the face of creators of anti-righteous arts and those supporting !
Mumbai (Maharashtra) : The deities, saints and national heroes are used in advertisements by mimicking and distorting them. As a result sentiments of various communities are hurt. As a result a problem of law and order arises. Hence take action against those who make such advertisements – this direct order was sent by the State Superintendent of Police to all Police Stations in the state.
(Late dawned Prudence ! Police should take this decision, not from fear of creation of law and order problems but realize that insulting symbols of faith is anti-righteous and should take action against such mimicking advertisements ! – Editor) To make advertisements more attractive, frequently characters of national heroes and deities are used in advertisements. (Excluding Hindus, does anyone have the guts to mimic deities from other religions ? – Editor) Sometimes they are shown in odd attire or shown saying wrong dialogues. Hence deities, saints or national heroes are insulted and controversy is created. To control such incidents, the office of State Superintendent of Police has issued a related order to all Police Stations in the state and has given directions to take action against offenders. (Mimicking and distorting symbols of faith is anti-righteous and at the same time is a bad influence for the next generation. Hence Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha have been running a legal movement for a number of years against such activities. – Editor)
