HJS Effect : Dy. Director, Education issues order to stop insult of National Flags

Nashik (Maharashtra): National Flags made of plastic and paper are sold on a large scale on the occasion of Republic Day. These Flags are, however, found lying in gutters, on the roads etc. after hoisting, leading to their denigration. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had undertaken a drive to prevent such denigration and as a part of this movement, it had submitted a representation to the Deputy Director, Education, Balasaheb Supe  from Nashik, prior to the Republic Day, demanding ban on use of plastic and paper flags.

Accordingly, Dy. Director issued an order banning use of plastic and paper flags to schools and colleges in Nashik, Jalgaon, Nandurbar and Dhule districts. He also called for a report on the same. Mr. Supe has now sent a letter to HJS about the action taken to stop denigration of National Flag.
