HJS succeeds in preventing denigration of Hindu Dharma

Yedashi (Dist. Dharashiv, Maharashtra): Speeches of Vaishali Dolas of Jijau Brigade and Nandkumar Gavare of Maratha Seva Sangh were organized in Hanuman Mandir on the occasion of Shiv-jayanti. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and other pro-Hindu organizations were successful in preventing likely criticism through the speeches of the above mentioned speakers, on Hindu Dharma, Deities and Saints. The program was scheduled between 6.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. n 18th February. A representation was submitted to the District Police Superintendent Mr. Darade on behalf of HJS as they learnt about the program. It was mentioned in the representation that ‘Considering the past record of the dignitaries, the possibility of their criticizing Hindu Dharma, Deities and Saints cannot be ruled out. This can create law and order problem; therefore, necessary action may be taken.’ The representation was submitted even at Yedashi Police Station.

Mr. Pandurang Pawar, the Chief of Shiv Sena’s ‘Vidyarthi Sena’, Mr. Kalidas Chaudhary, a devout Hindu, Mr. Sharad Ganesh, Amit Kadam of HJS were present on the occasion to submit the representation. Mr. A. K. Tilgule, the police office of that police station immediately issued a notice to the organizers of the program and the speakers instructing them that no insulting criticism should be made of Hindu Dharma. The speakers had to, therefore, give speeches without such criticism and they made a mention in their speeches of receiving such notice.
