Hindus should make efforts, in lawful manner and with unity, towards establishing Hindu Rashtra ! – Govind Chodankar, HJS
Mapusa : Christians say, they want to convert India into a Christian country. Fanatics want to convert India into an Islamic country. Then, why Hindus shouldn’t try to establish Hindu Rashtra ? Hindu Rashtra is an expansive concept. Hindus should try, in lawful manner and with unity, to establish Hindu Rashtra, which would make the whole world happy. The above appeal was made by Shri. Govind Chodankar, North Goa Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ organized by HJS on 25th November at Shri Brahman Rashtroli Devasthan, Pershetwado, Mapusa. Sanatan Sanstha’s Sou. Shubha Sawant explained importance of spiritual practice, ‘Dharmacharan (abiding by Dharma)’ and opposition faced by Sanatan. Sou. Deepa Mahaldar welcomed Sou. Shubha Sawant and Shri. Govind Chodankar was welcomed by Shri. Pradip Vasant Haldankar, Treasurer of Devasthan. It was 76th such ‘sabha’ held in the State of Goa. The program was compeered by Kum. Chaitali Haldankar.
Highlights
1. The ‘sabha’ was started with chanting of Shriram’s name and His acclamation.
2. It was the same place, Giri, where agitation was earlier successfully staged by women in Goa demanding inclusion of history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in history text books. Sou. Shubha Sawant reminded about the same in her speech and commended local women.
3. VCD was shown on the laudable mission undertaken by HJS for establishing Hindu Rashtra.
4. The program was concluded with taking of oath for dedicating to the mission of establishing Hindu Rashtra.
5. Copies of representations were kept at the reception counter for submitting to the Government. Participating devout Hindus signed the representation.
