Union Government should pass a law for protection of religious traditions followed in Sabarimala temple ! : Demand made during ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’
Ponda : Union Government should enact a law for preservation of religious traditions followed in Sabarimala Temple and cases filed against devotees for demonstrating should be withdrawn; investigations should be conducted into suspicious death of main witness in nun’s rape case in Kerala and bail granted to accused Bishop Franco Mulakkal should be cancelled. The above demands were made during demonstrations staged under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ by all pro-Hindu organizations on Sunday, 25th November at old bus-stand, Ponda. It was a part of RHA staged nation-wide.
Highlights
Khelan Gawade, a devout Hindu spontaneously joined the demonstrations. He appreciated activities undertaken by HJS and promised to extend as much help as possible while expressing his view that all Hindus should now come together.
