Nanded : Demonstrations were staged by devout Hindu activists on 29th November at 12.00 noon outside District Collector’s office for various demands, such as protection of religious traditions observed in different temples in Maharashtra; withdrawal of cases filed against devotees for staging agitation for protection of religious traditions and cancellation of bail granted to bishop Franco Mulakkal accused for 13 times raping a nun while stringent punishment for the guilty. Many pro-Hindu organizations along with Hindu Janajagruti Samiti participated in demonstrations. A representation was later submitted to the Dy. District Collector for forwarding the same to Union Home Minister and State Chief Minister.
