Moi (Tal. Khed, Dist. Pune) : Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi added the word ‘secular’ to Indian Constitution in 1976; therefore, this is a secular country. Temple of Prabhu Shriram is not being built all these years due to such secular governance, stated Shri. Nagesh Joshi of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) during ‘Hindu Rashtra-jagruti Sabha (sabha)’ held by HJS with the help of local residents of Moi on 24th November at Maruti Temple.
He also said, “Hindus’ customs and traditions are in danger due to such secular governance and explained it by giving examples. Ploy is also hatched to stop customs and traditions observed by shrines at ShaniShinganapur and Sabarimala. All Hindus should therefore, unite and fight against such things.”
