Phaltan (Dist. Satara, Maharashtra): We are always taught that ‘Hum sub bhai bhai (We all are brothers); but when one is celebrating ‘Ekadashi’, the other celebrates ‘Bakri Id’; then how can they be treated as brothers? On one side when Afzal is getting trained, why on the other side, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Tanaji Malusare are not being prepared? One should be proud to be a Hindu. The above guidance was given by H. B. P. Jitendra Maharaj Gade during the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on Mudhoji Club ground between 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. The ‘sabha’ was also addressed by Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat and Mrs. Gauri Khilare of Sanatan Sanstha.
Mr. Ramesh Shinde said, “Today when the attacks on Hindu Dharma are increasing, Hindus give importance to watching cricket matches. Why do Hindus give so much importance to cricket tournaments when out of 223 countries in the world, cricket is played only in 12 countries? China has, however, not encouraged this game as it wants to become a superpower.” Mrs. Gauri Khilare explained the need for creation of a Hindu Nation and harassment of a pro-Hindu spiritual organization like Sanatan Sanstha.
The ‘sabha’ began with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ followed with lighting of lamp by H. B. P. Jitendra Maharaj Gade. A VCD was shown on the occasion wherein topics like an overview of HJS activities, specialities of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ and the most condemnable effort of IBN Lokmat news channel to suppress the voice of Hindus. The program was concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’.
A follow-up meeting for devout Hindus has been fixed on Tuesday, 1st March at 6.00 p.m. in Sree Maljai Mandir to decide about further course of action.
