Nandurbar : On 1st January, ‘Hindu Rashtra-jagruti Sabha (sabha)’ was held at Ghotane village in the district which was addressed by Sanatan Sanstha’s Dr. Satish Bagul and Dr. Narendra Patil of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) from Nandurbar.
Dr. Bagul explained importance of ‘Dharmacharan (abiding by Dharma)’, so also celebration of festivals in distorted forms, denigration of Deities, importance of chanting ‘Kul-devata’s name, celebration of birthday as per ‘Dharma-shaastra’ etc. Dr. Patil spoke about various attacks on Hindu Dharma and Hindus and course of action for establishing righteous Hindu Rashtra. He spoke on different issues such as love jihad, land jihad, cow-slaughtering, unification of Hindus etc. He made an appeal to local residents to refrain from selling cows to butchers. The ‘sabha’ was attended by more than 200 devout Hindus. Local 70-80 young devout Hindus took out a procession before the ‘sabha’, playing drums etc.
Shri. Jitendra Marathe gave oath of establishing Hindu Rashtra to participants. Devout Hindus from Shriram Brigade; viz. Shri. Vinayak Dhanagar, Shri. Kunal Gosavi, Shri. Yogesh Patil, Shri. Rahul Patil, Shri. Shubham Bhava, Shri. Shubham Dhanagar, Shri. Nandu Gosavi, Shri. Pappu Dhanagar, Shri. Bunty Dhanagar, Shri. Ujjwal Dhanagar; Shri. Kapil Chaudhari, Shri. Dheeraj Chaudhari and Shri. Mayur Chaudhari of ‘Swadeshi Jagaran Manch’ extended help for the ‘sabha’.

Highlights
1. One devout Hindu asked to hold similar ‘sabha’ at Dondai after attending this ‘sabha’.
2. An appeal was made in the ‘sabha’ to stop butchers from coming to the village. As a result, a butcher had gone to Ghotane on the following day of the ‘sabha’ for buying cow/cattle but local youth drove him out.
