Strong warning by Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai: Those, who are demanding Sree Ganesha idol of 6”, have never done anything for the welfare of the society. We too feel that the wrong customs and traditions should be eradicated; but we will not allow these people to hurt religious sentiments of Hindus only for their whims and fancies. People may go on trying; but Shiv Sena will not let the Bill on eradication of superstitions be passed in the Legislative Assembly. The above strong warning was given by Mr. Uddhav Thackeray, the Chief Executive of Shiv Sena. He was speaking on the occasion of activation of ‘Dialysis Centre’ set up by ‘Lalbaug cha Raja Mandal’.

He said further, “Shiv Sena’s opposition to Jaitapur project continues. Just meeting the Chief Minister, does not mean that the opposition is withdrawn. This centre set up by ‘Lalbaug cha Raja’ will benefit poor people. All the money received by the Trust is used for welfare of the people. Shiv Sena strongly supports this ‘Mandal’. The mission of the ‘Mandal’ is very big; but they should maintain harmony and unity among the members.”
