Invitation of Hindu Dharmajagrtui Sabha extended to residents of Bhandup through a ‘prasar’ rally

Mumbai (Maharashtra) : On 13th March 2011, Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha has been organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the grounds of Parag School, near Shivaji Talao, Bhandup (W). A rally was taken out for propagation of the ‘sabha’ from Khadi Machine (Gagangiri Society), Bhandup (West) today. The rally was taken through different areas like Sahyadrinagar, Samarthnagar, Utkarshnagar, Gadhavnaka, Nardasnagar, Pach Mandir, Ganeshnagar, Anandnagar etc. ending at Lalsheth Compound. About 130 devout Hindus took part in the rally which was concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Mrs. Raghavi Konekar. Mr. and Mrs. Gaikwad performed ‘puja’ of the ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ with recitation of ‘mantras’ by Mr. Karkare. Mr. Ashok Patil, deputy-chief Shiv Sena zone offered garland to the ‘Dharma-dhvaj’. Mr. Ramesh Korgaonkar, a municipal councilor of Shiv Sena, Mr. Madhukar Sawant, another municipal councilor supported by Shiv Sena and Mr. Pravin Dahitule, the Vice-President of Warakari Sampradaya were present on the occasion and broke coconut.
Mr. Milind Korgaonkar, the Mumbai District President of ‘Bharatiya Yuva Morcha’ for North-East Mumbai said, “The situation is such that we do not know whether we are living in India or in Pakistan. Anyone and everyone is oppressing Hindus. There is no provision to teach Hindus, matters related to their Dharma; therefore, we are undertaking activities that are against the ‘Dharma-shastra’. How long are we going to tolerate such oppression?”
Mr. Pravin Dahitule and Mr. Narendra Surve of HJS also addressed the members of audience.

- 800 handbills inviting people to ‘sabha’ were distributed on the occasion. Many curious people were asking for the pamphlets.
