Cases registered against 2 persons in Dombivali !
Success of HJS’ drive for maintaining honour of national flags undertaken at Mumbai, Thane and Raigad
Police should have taken such action on their own instead of waiting for patriotic citizens to lodge complaints ! It shows need for generating patriotism among police !
Mumbai : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and patriotic citizens lodged complaints against sellers of T-shirts with pictures of national flags on the occasion of Republic Day at Mumbai, Palghar, Raigad and Thane etc. Case has been registered against 2 persons at Dombivali and complaint has been lodged at Mumbai and Raigad for insult of national flag. Police took action on the complaints and stopped shopkeepers and other small vendors from selling T-shirts which looked like national flags.
Complaints were also lodged with Panvel city police station, Khandeshwar police station, Bhoiwada police station in Mumbai, Virar (East) police station in Palghar district and Nerul police station at Navi Mumbai by HJS and patriotic citizens. Panvel city police station immediately took note of the complaint lodged and warned hawkers and shopkeepers against selling such types of T-shirts at Shivaji Chowk in old Panvel; after which the sellers removed the stock. Police instructed shops in Bhoiwada area, Mumbai to keep away such T-shirts from sale.
BJP Yuva Morcha’s general secretary Shri. Gulab Navik, Shri. Ramesh Siddhapure of ‘Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti’; Shri. Ravi Patil of HJS and Shri. Nishant Chaudhari, a patriot were present while lodging complaint with Nerul police station.
