Bhor : Devout Hindus paying homage to Veer Savarkar

Pune (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti had organised various programs in the Pune District on the occasion of Memorial Day of Swatantryaveer Savarkar.

Bhor : Mr. Vinayakkaka Sanas of Pratapgad Utsav Samiti offered garland to Veer Savarkar’s picture followed by its worship, in a program organised in Balaji Mandir here . Mr. Rohit Walimbe of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing the gathering said, “Do it and tell later (adhi kele maga sangitale), was followed by Veer Savarkar very strictly. You all should take the inspiration from the biography of Savarkar who was the symbol of patriotism and make efforts to protect our Nation.” All the present proud Hindus firmly decided to inherit the thoughts of Savarkar. The program was organised by the youth from the Dharmashikshan Varg (Class).

Waraje : A program organised at Yashodip Chowk in Waraje-Malwadi. Mr. Sainath Joshi of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Mandal lighted the auspicious lamp and placed a garland around the picture of Savarkar. A campaign of ‘signatures’ on the Memorandum with demands like N.C.E.R.T. Text-books should include detail History of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Centre should publish a coin having picture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Youth from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Mandal had participated spontaneously in the said program very enthusiastically in program organised by ‘Sanatan Sanstha, Pune’

An essay competition was organised having subjects – ‘Deshbhakta Savarkar’(Patrotic Savarkar) and ‘Savarkar Krantikarakanche Kulpurush’ (Savarkar, head of revolutionaries) at Vidyaniketan Primary Sacool in Pimpari. 70 students from std. 6th and 7th participatewd in this competition. Thereafter there was singing competition of the famous patriotic songs, written by Savarkar, ‘Ne majasi ne……’ and ‘Jayostute Jayostute….’. 

Also There was a questionnaire competition based on the life of Savarkar organised between between 6th std Vs 7th std, students. The participants themselves had prepared very good questions having studied the matter thoroughly. When they were asked, ‘How did you prepare them?’ by their class teacher, Smt. Vandana Karche, they said that along with many books they had read the articles based on Savarkar from ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ too. They also made a resolve to speak in mother tongue and to make use of Marathi as much as possible. While concluding the program, Smt. Karche addressed the students on ‘Savarkaranche Matrubhashevaril Prem’ (Savarkar’s love for his mother tongue).
