Anti-Hindu PMC demolishes Dnyaneshwar temple but the mosque stays

One more instance of Hindu-hatred of PMC; Strong opposition by Shiv Sena

Pune (Maharashtra) : Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) demolished 125 years old Saint Dnyaneshwar Mandir on the pretext that it obstructed the ‘palakhi procession’; but PMC has granted ‘No Objection’ certificate for re-construction of a mosque located further down on the same road. (What else is expected in a regime in which the Prime Minister of the country says, ‘Muslims have the first right on the wealth and property of this country ?’ – Editor SP)  

Shiv Sena has strongly opposed grant of NOC to the mosque and in a press conference held here, Shiv Sena’s MLA and leader Dr. Neelam Gorhe made a demand that the permission granted for re-construction of mosque should be cancelled. (Only Shiv Sena takes a prompt notice whenever there is attack on Hinduism; therefore, Hindus feel that they could rely on Shiv Sena ! – Editor SP) Dr. Gorhe said, “The re-construction of the mosque is going on in a crowded area like ‘Pulachi wadi’ where there was burial ground earlier. The ‘palakhi procession’ and ‘Navaratri immersion procession’ go by the same road. According to a police report, if permission is granted to any kind of construction work, it can cause great inconvenience to the citizens. Possibility of riots cannot be ruled out. Even earlier PMC had granted ‘NOC’ to the mosque for re-construction; but the State Home Ministry had issued a ‘Stay-order’ on 24th October 2010. Later, Urban Development Department of PMC once again granted NOC on 24.2.2011 for re-construction of the mosque in terms of the resolution passed for the purpose. This permission is faulty. If Dnyaneshwar Mandir can cause obstruction to traffic or ‘palakhi procession’, even a mosque will have the same effect.”

All pro-Hindu organizations oppose mosque !

Demonstrations will be staged on 24th March on behalf of Shiv Sena, BJP, Patitpavan Sanghatana, VHP, Dharmaveer Sambhaji Pratishthan, Raja Shivachhatrapati Pratishthan, Hindu Garjana Pratishthan etc. before the PMC’s office to protest against the construction work of mosque.
