Ramnathi (Goa) : It is very unfortunate that our elections are still contested on the basis of castes. During election time news channels propagating other faiths make distorted propaganda of Hindu Dharma. Hindu voters are considered to be ‘Religion / caste based’ and those of other faiths are taken as secular. This is very distressing. Hindus too need to remove their shortcomings or else it will be harmful to Dharma. Therefore it is essential that we should change, stated Shri. Sagar Javdekar, the Editor of Goa Edition of ‘Dainik Tarun Bharat’. He was addressing the gathering of ‘Second Convention of  Editor-journalists’ held on 22nd February in Sanatan’s Ramnathi Ashram on behalf of HJS. Ms. Ashwini Kulkarni of SS and Shri. Sandip Shinde, coordinator of SS’s Study Centre were present on this occasion. Nationalists and devout Hindu journalists from Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan were present for this Convention. Shri. Sandip Shinde said in his introductory speech, ‘This convention is being organised to discuss about establishing Hindu Rashtra and to create a group agreeing with this thought. He also said that there will be guidance and discussion on various topics like the contribution expected from journalists in the ‘Mission with regard to Rashtra and Dharma’, Need of establishing Hindu Rashtra’ etc.

The convention commenced with blowing of conch shell. Ved mantras were recited by Sanatan’s Ved Pathahala’s priests Shri. Ishan Joshi and Shri. Siddhesh Karandikar. Thereafter the auspicious lamp was ignited. Ms. Ashwini Kulkarni gave information about ‘The mission of the founder of SS, Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale, and the extent of Sanatan Sanstha’. Shri.
