The memorandum states that the residents of Sadye region are misguided and then converted on a large scale. This has been increasing day by day. They are misguided under the name of ‘healing’. Blind faith has been inculcated in the minds of the people who are suffering due to illnesses by the healer by putting his hand on the head of the sick saying that he would be free from his illness thereby. They gain false publicity thereby. They take the help of the media while undertaking ‘healing’ in this way. There is a rift among the residents here due to conversions. There is tension in this region. Social harmony may be at stake if immediate action is not taken. Lot of attempts have been made to convert the people in Bardez Taluka before. HJS will never tolerate such kind of attempts of alluring people and converting them. Hence HJS demands immediate inquiry of the conversions at Sadye and take immediate action to stop them. The people in and around Sadye are annoyed due to such conversions. The Dy. Collector has been already informed about the noise pollution caused due to high volume of the loud speakers and the illegal constructions in this region. The locals had demanded some solution to these irregularities from the workers of HJS. Looking to the seriousness of the problems HJS had kept the Memorandum for taking signatures from the proud Hindus at the HJS Sabha held at Mapusa recently(13th March2011). The said Memorandum has been forwarded to the Dy. Collector.
