Representation submitted by HJS to police and local administrations at Panvel, Yeotmal, Vardha and Dhule
Local devout Hindus join at Panvel for submitting representation
Panvel : Representation was submitted by activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and devout Hindus to Panvel city police station’s senior Police Inspector (PI) Shri. Vinod Chavan on 14th March, for prevention of malpractices taking place on the occasion of festivals like ‘Holi’ and ‘Rang-panchami’ and demanding celebration of festivals as per ‘Dharma-shaastra’. Shri. Rajendra Pavaskar of HJS and devout Hindus Kum. Adesh Mokal, Kum. Suraj Bhoir and Shri. Rohidas Shedage were present on the occasion. PI Vinod Chavan promised to take necessary action.
Representations submitted to police officers at Yavatmal and Vani
Yavatmal : Arrangements to provide security to women in the background of wrong things happening on ‘Holi’ and ‘Rang-panchami’ festival; harmful and prohibited colours should not be used and action should be taken against sellers of such harmful colours; so also against those who forcefully smear colour on others asking for balloons. The above demands were made through a representation submitted to District Superintendent of Police M. Rajkumar and PI Shri. Jadhav at Ner (Dist. Yeotmal). Members of ‘Mahila Utthan Mandal’, Sanatan Sanstha and HJS activists were present on the occasion. Similar representation was submitted to ‘Thanedar’ at Vani police station.
Representation submitted to Vardha District Collector and Superintendent of Police (SP)
Warhdha : On 13th March, representation was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to District Collector and SP of Vardha demanding curb over malpractices taking place on the occasion of ‘Holi’ and ‘Ranga-panchami’. Office Superintendent Lata Gujar accepted the representation at District Collector’s office and Dy. SP Shri. Nikhil Pingale accepted it on behalf of SP. Shri. Shashikant Padhye, Shri. Vijay Dagwar, Shri. Shiva Thote of HJS etc were present on the occasion.
Representation submitted to Dy SP at Dhule
Dhule : HJS submitted representation to Dy. SP Ravindra Sonawane on 15th March, demanding stringent action against wrongdoers for malpractices committed during ‘Holi’ and ‘Rang-panchami’ festivals and deployment of police patrolling squads during this period. Several devout Hindu activists were present along with HJS activists while submitting the representation.
