Nanded: HJS celebrates Shiv-jayanti

Nanded (Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had organized a program to celebrate the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at ‘Saint Pachalegaonkar Maharaj Mukteshwar Ashram’. The program began with lighting of lamp and performing ‘puja’ of the picture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This followed with showing, on a big screen, various activities undertaken by HJS all over the world for protection of Dharma. Shri. Yogesh Maharaj Salegaonkar, the renowned National ‘Keertankar’ and biographer of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj addressed devotees of Chhatrapati Shivaji on the topic ‘Chhatrapati Shivaraya and Hinduism’ and kindled the fire of ‘Dharmatej’ in them.  

“It is observed that today’s youth celebrate the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati by getting drunk and dancing on the tune of ‘DJ’ in the procession. They should rather try to follow the example of Shivaji who put his life in danger for protection of Dharma. If today’s youth resolve to carry on same activities like Shivaji Maharaj, the corruption-struck India will change into ‘Hindvi Swaraj’ within no time. They should, therefore, take part in HJS activities related to protection of Nation and Dharma,” appealed Shri. Yogesh Maharaj Salegaonkar to all Shivaji-devotees.  Mr. Narayan Kadam, Mr. Santosh Rayewar, Mr. Kailas Kulkarni, Dr. Amit Makwana, Mr. Vadaje, Mr. Ganesh Kondalwad, Mr. Tanaji Jadhav and Mr. Raghujiwar worked hard for success of the program. Miss Rageshree Deshpande of HJS also addressed the audience. The program was compeered by Professor Narayan Kadam. Shri. Sudhakar Tak, the President of ‘Sree Sant Pachalegaonkar Maharaj Mukteshwar Ashram’ made the hall of the ashram available for the program without charging anything.   

Highlight

Shri. Yogesh Maharaj Salegaonkar was not keeping well for 5-6 days prior to this program; but he came although he had to travel from Selu, District Parbhani to Nanded and addressed the program despite his illness.
