‘Shiva-jayanti’ celebrated at Ashoknagar and Datta Nagar in Shrirampur (Dist. Nagar) !
Shrirampur : Statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj have been installed in every district, province, village and chowk; but there is need to think, have we inculcated his thoughts in our heart and in blood. Moral values adopted by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should be followed by us. It is therefore, necessary to propagate ‘Shiva-charitra’ extensively so that it reaches every house, stated Shri. Prashant Juvekar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while addressing a program at Ashoknagar, on the occasion of ‘Shiva-jayanti’.
Few organizations have been portraying Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as secular but it is necessary to know real history rather than falling prey to their conspiracy. Maharaj worshipped his ‘Kuldevata (family Deity)’ and acquired spiritual strength. Even we need to undertake similar spiritual practice. A small nation like Vietnam could exhaust a powerful country like America by studying and adopting war- strategies used by Maharaj. We cannot afford to forget life-history of Maharaj whose fame is known to the whole world. Many problems related to nation and Dharma would be solved if his life-history was studied and followed, stated Shri. Prashant Juvekar, on this occasion.
The program held at Shri Datta Mandir, Ashoknagar was started with garlanding statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by Shri. Prashant Juvekar. He was felicitated by Shri. Nana Kale. The program was compeered by Shri. Rameshwar Bhukan and mainly Shri. Tatya Tawade, Shri. Nana Kale, Shri. Arjun Mapari, Shri. Vishnupant Parakhe and Shri. Rahul Mapari participated in organizing this program. The program was attended by local residents and a procession of vehicles was taken out before the program. Shri. Prashant Juvekar also garlanded statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the area of sugar factory, in the presence of local devout residents.

He garlanded statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj before start of the program. It was organized by ‘Shri Datta Tarun Mandal’, Dattanagar and attended by the local residents.
