Sanatan-hatred of Goa ‘Panchayat’ Minister Babu Ajgaonkar !

Mapusa (Goa): Sanatan carries out bomb blasts and creates rift among people. Strict action should be taken against such organizations. Congress zonal – President Subhash Shirodkar is also here. I want to tell him that the Chief Minister of this State should be strict. These people divide and rule over society, stated ‘Panchayat’ minister Manohar (Babu) Ajgaonkar yesterday. (On what basis is Babu Ajgaonkar accusing Sanatan when the National Investigating Agencies have not even alleged Sanatan’s involvement in Mudgaon bomb blast case? In fact, Sanatan is so selflessly working for spreading importance of spiritual practice to all the citizens; therefore, people from all strata of society, all religions are undertaking spiritual practice. Sanatan is the only organization that is achieving religious equality ! – Editor SP) He was addressing a conference held on behalf of All-India Mahatma Phule Samata Parishad. The meeting was attended by leaders like Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal, the Minister of Public Works Department in Maharashtra Government, Mr. Jose Philip D’Souza of NCP and the Revenue Minister of Goa, Neelkanth Halarnekar, the Zonal-President of Congress Mr. Subhash Shirodkar etc. among others. About 5000 people attended the conference.

Ajgaonkar said further, “Today our Chief Minister is a Brahmin; but he is a good ‘Brahmin’ . He strives for progress of everyone; we do not mind such ‘Brahmin’. (Ajgaonkar has exhibited his hatred towards Brahmins by referring to the caste to which the Chief Minister belongs. How can such people work for equality when they first see the caste of every person? – Editor SP) The Government has taken stringent action against Muslim terrorists so far. (What exactly the Government has done in this regard? Has the secular Government hanged even a single terrorist so far? – Editor SP)  There are anti-social elements even among Hindus. Stringent action should be taken against them also. If a person from higher caste is caught in a case of corruption, no action is taken against him; but if a person from lower caste commits some offence, there is competition among mass media to attack him.”

Chhagan Bhujbal made an appeal in this conference that people should fight for increasing the percentage of reservation from 19, presently available to the backward class, to 27% in the country and in Goa. He also demanded for census based on caste and reservation even in private establishments.  (Secular rulers are helping to grow reservation culture which does not exist anywhere in the world ! – Editor SP)
