‘Gudhi Padva’ celebrated undertaking different drives in Maharashtra !

Processions are taken out on the eve of ‘Gudhi Padva’ making various resolves

Nagpur (Maharashtra) : Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) undertook various drives on the occasion of Hindu New Year. i.e. ‘Gudhi Padva’.

Nagpur – ‘Tejaswini Vichar Manch (TVM)’ had organized a rally making different resolves on the auspicious occasion of ‘Gudhi Padva’. Many organizations participated in this rally which was started from Jhanshichi Rani Chowk after garlanding the statue of Rani by Mayor Mrs. Archana Dehankar and was concluded at Sriram Mandir in Ramnagar. Many resolves were made viz. to prevent cultural pollution – resolve made by Mrs. Mamata Chinchwade, the President of TVM, to celebrate ‘Gudhi Padva’ in ideal manner – resolve made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, to oppose corruption and vulgar advertisements was the resolve made by Shanta akka, an executive on behalf of Rashtraseva Samiti; besides, resolve to create awareness among the youth about using regional language, bring changes in their ways of thinking and behaviour etc. to preserve the moral and cultural heritage was also made jointly by organizations participating in the rally.

Rashtrasevika Samiti, TVM, Geetanjali Yoga Samiti, Samajik Samarasata Manch, VHP – women’s wing, HJS etc. were the organizations that took part in this novel rally.

Mammoth procession at Nandurbar

Mr. Chandrashekhar Behre, the Editor of a daily newspaper ‘Taapikaath’ and a staunch pro-Hindu had organized a mammoth procession on the occasion of ‘Gudhi Padva’. Various political parties and organizations like VHP, RSS, HJS, Shiv Sena, BJP, Congress etc. took part in this procession. The procession was stared from Ganapati Mandir and was concluded at Nehru Udyan.

First, the ‘Gudhi’ was hoisted as per the science followed with a procession chanting God’s name, was taken out through the village. Many youth members joined the procession with chanting. At many places, ‘puja’ was performed of the ‘Gudhi’ on its route.

Procession at Vani, Dist. Yeotmal

The rally was taken out on the main roads and people were explained about the ideal method of hoisting ‘Gudhi’.

‘Dharmajagruti’ procession at Ambad (Jalna) on the occasion of Gudhi Padva

‘Dharmajagrtui’ procession was taken out by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti through the town of Ambad. There was very good response received from the local pro-Hindus. The procession was started from Ambad Bus-stand and was concluded at Sree Swami Samartha Mandir. Dr. Rajendra Bhala of RSS performed ‘puja’ of the ‘Dharma-dhvaj’. About 125 devout Hindus participated in the procession.
