Thane: Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held successfully

Thane (Maharashtra): It is quite doubtful that after passing the ‘Lokpal Bill’, how effective would be its implementation and how much difference it would make in elimination of corruption. We basically lack the understanding that service unto the Nation is like serving our mother. This should be impressed upon the future generation because when everybody starts thinking in such manner, corruption would certainly reduce. Just supporting Anna Hazare won’t do; but everyone needs to be active so that the movement started by Anna Hazare does not go waste. Everybody should resolve that he would neither bribe anyone nor accept bribe from anyone; only then, this country will be free of corruption. The above views were expressed by Mr. Arvind Kulkarni, the senior journalist while addressing Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha.

The ‘sabha’ was held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Lakshmi-Keshav Hall, Kolbad Road in Thane at 6.00 p.m. The ‘sabha’ began with lighting of lamp by Mr. Kulkarni and was compered by Mr. Abhijit Bhojane. It was concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Mrs. Savita Lele. More than 250 devout Hindus attended the ‘sabha’. Mr. Ajay Sambhus of HJS said, “It is time that we unite for protection of our Dharma, forgetting our castes, sects, parties etc.” Mrs. Alpana Joshi of Sanatan Sanstha said, “Everyone needs to increase inner strength. We can protect Dharma only with our increased inner strength by undertaking spiritual practice ( ‘sadhana’) for which it is necessary to take ‘Dharmashikshan’.

A review meeting will be held on 16th April at 7.00 p.m. at Lakshmi – Keshav Office, Kolbad Road, Thane (West).
