Special prayers offered to Deities for long, healthy life of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale and for removal of obstacles in establishing Hindu Rashtra !
Mumbai : Special prayers were offered under ‘Hindu Rashtra-jagruti Abhiyan’ by readers of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals, women attending ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes and devout Hindus at various places in Mumbai so also at Navi Mumbai and Boisar; praying for long, healthy life to ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale in the background of his birthday celebration and for removal of obstacles in establishing Hindu Rashtra.
Worli
Special prayers were offered on 24th April at Shri Ambadevi Mandir, BDD Chawl after explaining the purpose of offering such prayers to devotees. There were 40 devotees including readers, devout Hindus and ‘jidnyasus’ who participated in this drive.
Andheri (W)
On 22nd April, Shri. Santosh Bandarkar of HJS read out the special prayer at Shri Ganesh Mandir at MHADA, Four Bangalows; where 22 devout Hindus and devout Hindus including seekers of Sanatan Sanstha were present.
Santacruz (East)
Special prayers were offered on 18th April at Saibaba Mandir, Kadamwadi, Vakola. The prayers were read out by Sou. Ashwini Parab, a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha. 19 persons including 15 devout Hindus were present on the occasion.
Jogeshwari (E)
On 16th April at ‘Ichhapoorti Ganesh Mandir’, Shyamnagar, special prayers were offered by 26 people; including 15 women from ‘Dharmashikshan’ class and 4 seekers of Sanatan Sanstha. Devotees present in the temple also joined the prayers when explained the purpose. Two young men among them and women from ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes quite liked the drive. Permission was granted for the drive by trustees when asked over phone. Sou. Jyoti Sabarat, a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha read out the prayer.

Shri. Balwant Pathak, Coordinator of HJS offered prayer at Masurashram on 12th April. 20 devout Hindus, including Shri. Bhaurao Patil, manager of Masurashram, Shri. Dilip Varunkar, priest Brahmachari Narayan Guruji, Sajjan buva Guruji, Shri. Vijay Mestri, Shri. Vinod Pagdhare etc were present on the occasion. One devout Hindu said while seeking permission from management that it was a prayer for welfare of the whole world.

On 22nd April, special prayers were offered at Shri Sankalpsiddhi Ganesh Mandir, Motilalnagar 1. Permission was immediately granted by the Priest when he was told the purpose of offering such prayers as establishing Hindu Rashtra at the earliest and for long healthy life of ‘Paratpar Guru’ Dr. Athavale. 23 devout Hindus, including 5 women attending ‘Dharmashikshan’ class and 3 readers of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals were present. Shri. Ninad Oak of HJS offered the prayer.
Kandivali (W)
On 25th April, Shri. Kishore Joshi, the Priest of Datta Mandir, Dahanukar Wadi offered special prayers in the presence of 27 people, including 20 devout Hindus.
Bhandup (E)
On 25th April, special prayers were offered at Datta Mandir in Ashok nagar. 31 people including Shri. Pandurang Gaokar, the President of the temple participated in the prayers.
Bhandup (W)
On 26th April, special prayer was read out by Shri. Bapardekar, a reader of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, at Shiv Mandir, Sahyadrinagar. ‘Jidnyasus’, who have recently started attending ‘Dharmashikshan’ class, also joined the drive when explained the subject. 31 people were present, including 21 students of ‘Deepak Tutorials’ adjacent to the temple.
Airoli, Navi Mumbai
On 22nd April, Shri. Sudhir Goswami, Priest of Saptashrungi Mata Mandir in Sector 3 offered special prayers on 22nd April in the presence of 14 devout Hindus, including 4 women.
Kharghar, Navi Mumbai
At Shiva-Mandir, Sector 12, temple-priest offered special prayers on 25th April when 22 people including 8 women from ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes were present.
Boisar (Dist. Palghar)
Shri. Pundit Chavan of HJS offered special prayers at Saibaba Mandir, Pasthal on 25th April. Many devotees liked the topic when explained the purpose of making such prayers. One of the devout Hindu women asked with concern, “Is the Founder of Sanatan Sanstha not keeping well? Is he ok?” 18 persons attended the program, including Shri. Rajendra Mestry, Chairman of this temple-trust.
